Located in Scarborough, The Mayfield Seamer is 5 miles from The Spa Scarborough. With a terrace, the property also features a bar. The property has a playground. I stayed in the annexe building around the corner. It was very newly decorated, perfectly clean and very nicely furnished in a modern style. The bed was very comfortable and the television was great. The bathroom was also very good, perfectly clean, modern, spacious with a nice big bath and separate walk in shower with rain or handheld system. The dyson room cooler was handy considering the hot summer we are having, and quite effective. Plenty of parking around the back of the pub too. I chose to eat at the sister pub along the road, which was fabulous, although I had a nice meal at this place before.

Scarborough holds fond memories for me as I holidayed here many times when I was a child. I still love the place as much as I did back then. There's so many different places to walk to. Within 30 minutes you can be in the middle of nowhere or you can walk the seafront or town centre.
The area is clean and tidy. Roads good. Fantastic scenery. Visited the castle and had a good afternoon there. No hurry to leave. Great interaction hand held remotes to give you information on the history of the castle as you walk about. Visited Oliver’s Mount , WOW what a view from there. Plenty of places to sit and people watch or have a meal. So much to see and do. Massive beaches to wonder on. Definitely would go back.
Scarborough is a great place with a good sized town, plenty of history, the fantastic north and south bays and not far from the North York Moors National park. It's still a up proper fishing port too with a working harbour. It's always worth a trip here!
Scarborough - the greatest seaside holiday destination in the UK for all ages. Lots of choice in hotel accommodation and places to eat. A great many things to do like; small railway, waterpark, sealife centre, oriental park, wildlife, lake, shops, art gallery, Lifeboat RLNI. Lots of eateries serving international cuisine; seaside favourites: fish and chips, ice-creams, candy rock, candy floss, ice-lollies. Lots buckets and spades, amusements and rides for children, lots shops, retail outlets. Scarborough Fair, harbour, boats and fishing vessels, wet fish store. Wonderful views of the beach and harbour, castle and clifftop church where lies Anne Bronte, marvellous Victorian Edwardian architecture. Wonderful place to paddle, play, walk, ride bikes, bus tours, museum, Spa and entertainment bars, club, bingo, karaokeand taking photos. Nearby Bridlington animal wildfowl park and fast boat rides! Well worth a visit! Highly recommend.
Credit to the local council they've transformed Scarborough into a great seaside town with so much to do and enjoy. Plenty of walks, arcades, places to eat and drink, funfair, sealife center, two swimming pools, open air theater, shops, castle, and even has a BMX track and skate park. Scarborough is a great place and you'll need at least a couple of days to get enjoy it all, Only thing that let's the place down and most other towns these days is the amount of beggers appearing everywhere.
Scarborough is a living Victorian seaside museum . There are lots of great, beautiful and interesting parts. Not all of it is the tacky bit at the front. Easy access to the N. York Moors. Amazing coast line.
We have stayed in just about every Hotel in Scarborough and Harbouside Apartments beat them all in every aspect , we cant wait to return for another excellent experience. The location is absolutely perfect and the apartment was spotlessly clean and modern . James was the best host and a perfect gentleman who couldn't have helped us more if he tried . The free Beach Chalet was an unexpected added bonus . Anyone who wants to have a Great time in Scarborough , this is the place to stay ! .
Good facilities such as Swimming pool and games room, opening hours were perfect on each of these gave every guest chance to use without being overcrowded alot of space around the hotel/waiting room to wait for people of your group when going out. Lovely idea for the map on the wall to point out places of interest. Not a fair walk from town centre although with the weather had to drive due to being at the top of hills. Good bar area with good selection of drinks
Very welcoming the staff are lovely & friendly Room beautifully laid out with very comfortable bed & all the facilities you need including a well stocked mini bar air conditioning gorgeous bathroom with all essentials We had an evening meal which was beautifully presented & tasted lovely & the inclusive breakfast was delicious Located about a 5 min drive from Scarborough’s Peasholm Park in nice quiet village setting

We were greeted promptly upon arriving at the hotel, our room was really cosy and lovely and clean. Breakfast was included with the price of our stay; the service was great and the staff were really polite. Would definitely like to stay again next time we visit Scarborough.
Proper hotel , The best in scarborough. Good atmosphere and facilities. Staff professional and informative. The location is just far enough not to be in the main area of the town , although you need to be relatively fit as the walk is a little hilly.
The property is well situated for the North side of the resort but it has seen better days. It does what it says on the tin. Cheap and cheerful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are the best thing about the hotel.
We loved everything about the Kimberly hotel. Very welcoming and helpful. Made my stay with my two young children perfect. Delicious breakfast and a great choice. Beds were very comfortable and clean.
